EyeSight Tech Comes Standard on 2019 Outback

The 2019 Subaru Outback comes in six different trim packages, offering drivers plenty of choices. One of the biggest change for 2019 is that Subaru EyeSight, a suite of advance driver-assistance features, comes standard on every Outback.

Under the Hood

Like the 2019 Legacy, the 2019 Subaru Outback is powered by a 2.5-liter four-cylinder Subaru BOXER engine offering 175 horsepower. Drivers looking for more may opt for the Outback 3.6R, a 3.6-liter six-cylinder that churns out 256 horsepower.

A continuously variable transmission facilitates smooth transition between gears.

Comfort & Convenience

Every 2019 Subaru Outback comes with a 6.5-inch STARLINK multimedia system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility. The premium outback includes front windows with auto-up/auto-down, as well as a telescoping steering column, power door locks and power side mirrors.

The Outback 2.5i Premium offers heated front seats, a three-spoke leather-wrapped steering wheels, dual-zone automatic climate control, and silver accent stitching. The premium Outback also includes illuminated front inner door pull handles and foldable body-color side mirrors.

The Outback’s Touring edition comes with an exclusive Java Brown leather interior with woodgrain finish, piano-black switch panel accents and contrasting ivory stitching.

Subaru’s innovative EyeSight technology, which includes Adaptive Cruise Control, Pre-Collision Braking and Throttle Management, Lane Departure Warning and Lane Keep Assist, now comes standard on all 2019 Outbacks.

The 2019 Outback also offers the STARLINK Safety Plus package, which comes with SOS Emergency Assistance, Enhanced Roadside Assistance, Automatic Collision Notification, Maintenance Notifications, Monthly Vehicle Health Report and Diagnostic Alerts.

There’s also the STARLINK Safety Plus & Security Plus Package, which includes all of the above plus Stolen Vehicle Recovery Service, Vehicle Security Alarm Notification, Remote Lock/Unlock, Remote Horn and Lights and Remote Vehicle Locator.
