Comfort & Convenience
Subaru engineers gave the 2022 Ascent an impressive list of amenities.
Driving on a frigid day? All models come with a heated steering wheel that provides comfort during cold drives.
Have an armful of groceries? The power rear gate automatically closes and locks the entire vehicle with the touch of a button.
Going skiing? No need to catch a cold waiting for your vehicle to heat up. A Subaru smartphone app allows you to start the vehicle remotely and warm up the cabin.
An 8-inch touchscreen is integrated with a Starlink Multimedia system as well as Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
Safety
All Ascent models are outfitted with six airbags, including side-curtain and seat-mounted front side airbags. Other standard safety features include: high beam assist, 180-degree front view monitor, pre-collision braking, lane departure, adaptive cruise control and sway warning.
The 2021 Ascent earned top marks with a 5-star overall vehicle score from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration. It also received the highest possible safety rating for frontal crash prevention from the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety.
