A rally car at heart, the 2019 Subaru WRX is powered by a turbocharged 268-horsepower, 2.0-liter BOXER engine and includes Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive and Active Torque Vectoring standard.

The standard WRX comes with a six-speed manual transmission, through a Sport Lineartronic continuously variable transmission with manual mode is available.

Comfort & Convenience

The base version of the 2019 Subaru WRX enjoys SUBARU STARLINK, a 6.5-inch high-resolution touchscreen infotainment system that integrates with Apple CarPlay, Android Auto and STARLINK Cloud Apps. The base model also offers Bluetooth hands-free phone connectivity, audio streaming and a rear vision camera.

The WRX Premium’s STARLINK system upgrades to a 7-inch touchscreen and sits atop 18-inch alloy wheels. The all-weather package includes heated front seats and windshield wiper de-icer, fog lights and power moonroof.


Standard on every 2019 WRX Premium and Limited with continuously variable transmission is Subaru’s EyeSight driver-assistance technologies. The package includes features like the EyeSight Assist Monitor, which uses dual LED indicators to display alerts on the windshield, while the Auto Vehicle Hold stabilizes the WRX on all road grades, not only inclines.
