EyeSight Driver-Assist Technology Standard On 2019 Legacy

Subaru has long been synonymous with safety, and the brand is once again making its mark by including its EyeSight driver-assistance technology as standard for every 2019 Legacy.

Under the Hood

A 2.5-liter, four cylinder Subaru BOXER engine producing 175 horsepower comes standard, while the Legacy 3.6R model is a 3.6-liter six-cylinder churning out 256 horsepower. Both engines are paired with a Lineartronic continuously variable transmission.

All Legacy trim levels have Subaru Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive and Active Torque Vectoring standard. In fact, the 2019 Subaru Legacy is the only midsize sedan that makes an all-wheel drive system standard.

Comfort & Convenience

A 6.5-inch Subaru STARLINK multimedia screen that integrates with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto comes standard on the base models. An eight-inch STARLINK touchscreen with voice-activated control comes one the Legacy 2.5i Premium, Sport and Limited trims.

Other upgrades include an all-weather package with heated front seats and a windshield wiper de-icer. A 10-way power driver’s seat with power lumbar support is another available upgrade.

Options for the 2.5 Premium include a power moonroof, STARLINK eight-inch multimedia with navigation, Blind Spot Detection with Lane Change Assist and Rear Cross Traffic Alert, High Beam Assist and LED fog lights.

Now standard on every 2019 Subaru Legacy, the EyeSight suite of driver-assistance technologies includes Adaptive Cruise Control, Pre-Collision Braking and Throttle Management, Lane Departure Warning and Lane Keep Assist.
