Under the Hood
The Legacy, Legacy Limited, Legacy Premium and Legacy Sport are powered by a 2.5-liter engine producing 182 horsepower and 176 pound-feet of torque. The top-tier Legacy, the Legacy Limited XT, boasts a 2.4-liter turbocharged engine churning out 260 horsepower and 277 pound-feet of torque.
Each engine is paired with a Lineartronic Continuously Variable Transmission.
Comfort & Convenience
Subaru’s STARLINK multimedia system comes standard on all five versions of the 2020 Subaru Legacy. STARLINK includes conveniences like Advanced Automatic Collision Notification, which will alert an operator in the event of a crash, while SOS Emergency Assistance can get you roadside help with the push of a button. The system also enables you to remote start your engine and adjust the climate control system from your smartphone.
Safety
In addition to symmetrical all-wheel drive, every 2020 Legacy includes Subaru’s EyeSight Driver Assist Technology package standard.
EyeSight monitors the surrounding traffic, optimizes cruise control and can alert the driver if they stray from their lane. Automatic pre-collision braking can apply full braking force in emergencies, while the new adaptive cruise control includes lane centering, which assists with steering, braking and throttle control.
