Make Some Winter Adventures With Subaru 2022 Ascent

The 2022 Ascent is the largest SUV in the Subaru lineup and provides a perfect fit for family escapades this winter.

Ascent offers three rows of flexible seating for 8 passengers, symmetrical all-wheel drive and a 5000 Ib towing capacity.

Under the hood

The 2022 Ascent offers an estimated 500 miles of highway driving range. It is powered by a turbocharged 2.4-liter Subaru Boxer engine, delivering 260 hp and 277 Ib-ft of torque through a Lineartronic CVT and symmetrical AWD system.

Ascent accelerates from 0-60 mph in about 6.9 seconds and has a 5000 Ib towing capacity–the most for any Subaru vehicle.

Comfort & Convenience

Subaru engineers gave the 2022 Ascent an impressive list of amenities.

Driving on a frigid day? All models come with a heated steering wheel that provides comfort during cold drives.

Have an armful of groceries? The power rear gate automatically closes and locks the entire vehicle with the touch of a button.

Going skiing? No need to catch a cold waiting for your vehicle to heat up. A Subaru smartphone app allows you to start the vehicle remotely and warm up the cabin.

An 8-inch touchscreen is integrated with a Starlink Multimedia system as well as Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

Safety

All Ascent models are outfitted with six airbags, including side-curtain and seat-mounted front side airbags. Other standard safety features include: high beam assist, 180-degree front view monitor, pre-collision braking, lane departure, adaptive cruise control and sway warning.

The 2021 Ascent earned top marks with a 5-star overall vehicle score from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration. It also received the highest possible safety rating for frontal crash prevention from the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety.
